LOVE STOCKTON! 9/29/2012

San Joaquin Elementary School administrators, teachers, students, parents, and members of our educational community would like to express our sincere appreciation to the congregation of First Baptist Church for the generosity, support, and labor of love extended to our school on Saturday, September 29th during Love Our Stockton Day.  We are very grateful to the members who selected our school for this project, and we are all reaping the wonderful benefits of your efforts.

The trees were trimmed, hedges clipped, and flowers were planted.  Other areas were cleared and swept.  All of the hard work done has made our educational environment that much more of an enjoyable place to work.  We were all impressed by your degree of hard work, as well as long hours expended in sprucing up our campus, and will never forget your charitable service to our school.

Teachers, staff and students also showed up to work on the school grounds. It was a valuable lesson for students who worked hand and were especially proud of the work they did to beautify their school.
